Matjaž Romih, musician and radio presenter at Radio Slovenia, won the Slovenian Chanson Festival in 2005. The prize he received for winning the festival was a record deal. The result is the album Novice iz Slovenije (News from Slovenia). His songs describe the different shades of our reality in an original way and cover a wide spectrum of different emotional states. His poems paint an impression of life as it is - sometimes laughing and joyful, other times poignant to the point of absurdity.
