The 42nd edition of the folk pop festival Ptuj 2011 was held on 19 August 2011 in the courtyard of the Ptuj Minorite Monastery.
Ten acts were selected by the jury for the final festival night and are also presented by the compilation. Four of its awards were taken by the Akordi ensemble from Prestranek.
Awards:
By the festival jury:
- best quintet – the ORFEJ award - won by the Pajdaši ensemble from Pragersko,
- best ensemble (other line-ups) - the ORFEJ award - won by the Akordi ensemble from Prestranek,
- best lyrics - Igor Pirkovič for the song Satri dobri časi performed by the Cvet ensemble from Gornji Grad,
- best vocal interpretation - the Koren plaquette award - won by the Akordi ensemble from Prestranek.
By the audience of the festival:
- best group - the Akordi ensemble from Prestranek.
By the TV and radio audience (televoting):
the best song - Akordi ljubezni performed by the Akordi ensemble from Prestranek.
