In cooperation with Radio Slovenia - First Programme and RTV Slovenia Music Production ZKP RTV Slovenia is releasing the album New York Suite by jazz trumpeter and composer Alex Sipiagin & Big Band RTV Slovenia under the baton of Lojze Krajnčan. The album which will be available on May 15th contains of eight compositions that were originally written for a small ensemble and released on Sipiagin's previous albums but Krajnčan gave them a new angle and a different mood with orchestra musicians. All the compositions were inspired by Sipiagin's travels and tours with different lineups around the world, but the final phase was always done in New York.
On May 17th the musicians will present the album at the concert at the Stara elektrarna.
